Put Your Heart Into It

Put Your Heart Into It workshops are run by dynamic duo team Laura Issell —stylist and maestro behind the The Interior Hunter— and Anna D’Amelio, lifestyle guru and founder of Miod Skincare.

Combining years of experience working with creative professionals, Laura and Anna bring a range of knowledge and diverse skill set to inspire others to put their heart into it. Check out some of their workshops online to be challenged,

inspired and learn something new.

Here is a peep at some event and styling photography from a recent shoot during their do-it-yourself sustainable wedding event.

The Sexologist

Meet Vanessa, a sexologist and founder of Mia Muse who is taking the "taboo"

out of sexual wellness by using her expertise to inspire and empower other

women.

Here are some snippets from a recent portrait session with Vanessa Muradian

at Schoolhouse Studios in Richmond. Ever since I laid eyes on this inspiring

woman I wanted to capture her seductive eyes, big luscious hair and somehow

capture her confident sexual energy on camera — a true muse! I hope her beauty

and her empowering mission shines through!

Indigenous Fashion Week - Sydney

Last Friday I had the pleasure of attending the first ever Australian Indigenous Fashion week at Sydney's Town Hall. It showcased a diverse range of wearable fashion and accessories, textiles and fabrics, as well as a selection of art, furniture and homeware designs.

A fresh and exciting new event that showcased and supported the design talents of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders from across Australia.

Set to become an annual fixture on the Australian fashion calendar, the AIFW™ featured a diverse range of traditional and contemporary designs from emerging designers and already established industry names.

It was the perfect fusion of Indigenous art, culture and fashion design.

Nixi Killick Launch VAMFF

Sunday night saw the launch of the label NIXI KILLICK, a vibrant mix of bio-psychedelic street wear and futuristic design.

With a focus on visceral artistic prints, NIXI KILLICK is working towards a vision of optimistic 'imagineering'. The label recontextualises patterns and images with a hybrid ethos. As Nixi Killick says "if it's not in the future, it doesn't exist".

Here are some photos from this colourful night!
